Group runs are conducted three times a week with each run focusing on a specific running quality. Participants can join any of the runs and not necessarily all three unless we are preparing for an event. Each run has a specific goal. Monday nights: Tempo workout – the goal is to learn to run fast at a steady pace; Wednesday night: Hill or Track simulated workouts – the goal is to improve speed; Friday or Saturday morning: long run – the goal is to build strength and stamina. The length of the Long runs and the pace of the track /hill and tempo workouts, to follow will be dictated and based on each individual’s plan and potential. The roads will be measured, marked and easy to follow and the long runs are manned with water stations. Gus, gels (carbohydrate fuel) can be purchased at the Ashe boutique. Terms
